A Wisp Of Being
A Wisp Of Being A visual representation Floating about in a lazy breeze, I suddenly realised immense presence. Airy and feathery, a bit humid from the sea, Far below — oh, what a sight I saw. Only when I turned back did I realise The colossal cobalt endlessness In which I was floating. I was growing too, All the while ignoring the growing stress. Soon came the mountains, and with them, The expanse turned a brilliant turquoise, Dazzling the pristine fluff I was. I rushed past hills, Touching peaks in my gentle wake, as I continued. But soon, I could hold on no longer, And as greyness enclosed me, I began to let go — let go of my being — Falling in a downpour of peace, Letting my fears drain out, liberating me. I went on like this until All m y fears and sorrow poured wit h the rain, until I was a mere wisp. And just as vulnerability tried t o grasp me, the endless blue h eld me in its arms And coddled me, Until I was whole again. -- Advait Nair
