Transformations of Life
I love how life surprises you when you least expect it. It gives meaning to life and makes it interesting I feel. So since yesterday I have a cold and have been feeling a bit down. Today morning I wake up for university and as I go about my business, I get abdominal cramps and have loose motions. The pain intensifies and its a clear case of food poisoning. Though it was probably my fault, the situation wasn't good since I had to go to university. I gave it sometime and I needed to use the bathroom twice more. I somehow managed to get in bed and be stable and by now my classes had already begun. I was planning to take a leave for the entire day and texted my friends to get notes for me. The convo continued as if my texts didn't exist. Ignored. When I have run for help when they needed. I don't if it was this realization that I'm truly alone here and that only I am responsible for myself or because I was feeling better, but I decided to get dressed and went to class. I managed to enter 15 minutes late to my 2nd class which was Spoken Italian. Oh also, it was raining. And very windy as well. Anyways so I reach and take a seat at the front. I have this belief in general that I must sit ahead and close to the professors, so they see me and take notice, but during sickness I kind of go full on YOLO mode. So, we sat ahead. I answered to everything I knew and guessed loud so the professor could hear for all lectures, again a thing I don't usually do. I was feeling unusually confident and kind of didn't care what anyone thought. So that was fun. It went well too. But the good part starts as we were leaving the class. Got into a descent conversation with my classmates whom I haven't really talked with much and we talked as a group for quite a bit, as we also took the same bus. This felt good, since it was one of the best days, communication wise, of university for me so far.
So yeah, fun. The motions seem to be under control for now and I'm hoping the cold wares off soon as well. That's it for now, so ciao!
